 ProGuard Custom Industrial earplugs developed to be used where noise levels can quickly escalate into becoming a hearing problem for workers and employers. Hazardous noise conditions will have a cumulative effect on any workers consistently subjected to it. Giving a high priority to hearing protection is an important step towards a successful hearing conservation program and an important factor in maintaining an overall healthy workforce.
 The right hearing protection equipment will reduce noise to an overall safe level, but avoids overprotection that compromises communication and worker safety on the job. Our industrial earplugs come as full shell wih an 18dB attenuation filter fitted as standard. The ProGuard filters are interchangeable and can be changed for a different value on request. The idea of rating filters with these values is to help with your noise calculations; if for instance your factory has an a-weighted noise reading of 98dB, then the SNR 18dB (Blue) filter would be the one to choose as this will bring the noise floor down to 80dB, a good reference point.
Because we understand that all ears are unique, ProGuards are tailored exclusively to your ears, right down to every bump and curve for a perfect acoustic seal and maximum comfort. They are manufactured in non-allergenic medical grade soft silicon and come as full shell fitting style. They are also colour coded, Blue and detachable is available for the food processing industry and yellow for all other industrial applications. A detachable lanyard is also included.
ProGuard recognise the importance of individual hearing products, we will simplify every stage of getting your own custom fit products made. Of course each product in the range will require impressions of your ears. The process is completely painless and will take no longer than 15 minutes. If you want to get a full understanding of the process where it is fully explained, go to the audiology section on this site. Because we offer a straight out of the box solution, arrangements will be made for impressions to be taken of your ears at one of our locations nationally. Once this procedure has been carried out, you just need to send them back to us in the pre-paid box supplied and in approximately 14 days your own Custom Fit hearing product will arrive at your doorstep.
